This section of the document provides instructions for Unit 1 of a speech course. Students are expected to demonstrate knowledge of narrative and new vocabulary, effectively use interrogative pronouns and easily confused words when presenting a speech on a lesson they’ve learned. There are exercises related to critical and academic vocabulary, assessment, easily confused words, and presentation skills. Additionally, there is a reading comprehension exercise and a self-reflection prompt included in the section.
