This section of the document provides tips for an engaging reward system in the classroom. Students can earn items to build a building by answering questions correctly but will not receive items if they do not follow classroom rules. If a student collects all six items, they complete the building and win. The teacher is advised to draw the reward system on a whiteboard or paper for use in class. Additionally, there are tips on engaging students through activities like matching verbs to their definitions, playing games like Tic-Tac-Toe, reading narratives about natural disasters, and matching words to their definitions. The section also includes activities for students to reflect on stories, match words, spell affixes, complete sentences, categorize terms, and choose the correct verb forms. Lastly, there are tasks for students to evaluate similarities between natural disasters, discuss the effects of different environmental phenomena, and write a persuasive letter about the environment with a checklist for content and language accuracy.
